Isla Damas Turtle Conservation
Just a short trip from Quepos, on Isla Damas, you can discover an inspiring turtle conservation project.
Every year, between June and December, sea turtles come to the island to lay their eggs. For years, Milo and his partner have worked to protect the nests and give the baby turtles a better chance of survival.
They created a hatchery where thousands of baby turtles are protected and later released into the ocean. Their work has become a true passion and an important contribution to the conservation of sea turtles in the region.
Visitors can learn about the turtles, the conservation process, and the dedication behind this project. It is a unique and educational experience that shows how individual actions can make a big difference.

The Farmer’s Market in Quepos
We highly recommend adding the feria to your list of things to do during your stay if you would like to experience a more authentic side of Quepos and Costa Rican culture.!
Located in downtown Quepos, near the marina, the feria is just a short drive from Vista del Pacifico Boutique Hotel. It takes place every Friday and Saturday, weather permitting.
The Quepos Feria is a wonderful place to take a leisurely stroll, meet local vendors, discover Costa Rican products, and support the hardworking people of our community.
At the feria, you can discover a wonderful variety of local products, including fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables, handmade clothing, jewelry, shoes, spices, plants, and other unique items. You may even come across local organizations offering dogs for adoption.
Nahomi Park, a magical spot in Quepos
Just 200 meters from the Quepos pier lies a hidden natural treasure that many have yet to discover: Nahomi Park. This little paradise blends the freshness of nature with postcard-perfect views. The spectacle from its viewpoints is unmatched: to the south, the silhouette of Punta Quepos; to the east, the tranquil Maracas Bay; and to the west, the endless blue of the Pacific Ocean, where every sunset paints the sky in breathtaking shades of gold and pink.

Biezans Beach
JPlaya Biesanz is a quiet, lesser-known beach near Quepos and Manuel Antonio National Park. It is reached via a roughly 10-minute trail through the jungle, though the path can be slippery and lacks signage.
The walk offers opportunities to spot abundant wildlife—especially squirrel monkeys, as well as sloths, lizards, snakes, and birds. Its natural beauty, tranquility, and biodiversity make it a special, uncrowded spot.
